Are you insured? Can you supply me with proof of liability?  

A-List Events is a fully insured limited liability corporation.  

Will you be willing to play requests and discuss music ahead of time?  

We provide our clients with a comprehensive contract & event planning forms designed to ensure that every aspect of your special day goes according to plan.  If at any time in the planning process you need assistance, our professional team is willing and able to assist. 

Do you use Professional Equipment?  

Simply put, we use the finest professional grade audio & lighting equipment. Each of our four complete DJ rigs are identically outfitted with Pioneer DJ Controllers, JBL Powered Speakers, Shure Wireless Microphones, Serato DJ Pro Software, and optional Martin Light Show.  

Do you provide backup equipment at my event?    

All of our DJ rigs are outfitted to operate independently in the unlikely event of the failure of any one of the components. You have enough to worry about on your big day, your disc jockeys equipment failing need not be one of your concerns. 

Does the Disc Jockey know the proper etiquette for your type of party?   

As professional disc jockeys for over 10,000 events, we have performed in every situation you can imagine, and our experience shows. As a result of our vast experience, we fully understand the intricacies necessary to make each and every event a complete success.   

How much time do you allow for set-up?   

To us, punctuality is a must. As such, we will be fully set up prior to your first guests’ arrival at the reception or ceremony. Additionally, all set up and break down time is factored into our pricing...you pay only for the time we are entertaining you and your guests.   

Do you provide a written contract?   

For the protection of all parties, we provide clients with a written contract. In order to reserve your date, we require that this document be completed in full and returned along with a non-refundable retainer fee of $500.   

Will you be suitably dressed for our occasion?   

In accordance with the type of event and your personal preferences, we always dress to impress.

Disc Jockey rates vary based on talent, experience, emcee ability, service, coordination, equipment needed, music knowledge, mixing ability and personality.   

Rates for the DJ industry vary greatly, ranging from $350.00 to over $5,000.00 with an average of $1,200.00 for a 4 hour booking.   

The best price is not always the best deal, especially if you are planning a wedding.

As your disc jockeys, our professional team normally invests 12 to 30 hours of our time on your special event, even though it may appear that you are only paying for “4 hours.”
